Worms 2: Armageddon a light hearted humor game

Now, let’s be honest the original release of the video game Worms was good, but it contained less than enough features that has made games of this genre famous. Thanks to game developers Team 17 who have addressed these shortcomings for the sequel, making Worms 2: Armageddon a “Genre Superhit”. The core gameplay of Worms 2: Armageddon remains the same coupled with its rewarding single player campaign, the improved online multiplayer with loads of stuff to unlock, which makes it a humorous game.
You say its a simple 2D game, but Worms 2 has some nice visual effects and animation. Some of the additions to this version is the fire that superficially scorches worms and burns through the scenery also the smoke that moves in the direction of the wind. The background is more detailed than before especially the effect of the water distorting the scenery and the objects beneath it. The background score of Worms 2: Armageddon is perfectly ambient and in line with the light hearted humor of the game, the characters (the worms) have a good selection of voices to choose from.
Worms 2: Armageddon compiles the best of this series. What Worms 2 brings to this franchise is good visuals, plenty of customizable options and a very well functioning multiplayer. Some of the customizable game mode don’t work online. However, Worms fans will soon notice that this sequel brings back all of the classic weapons and if you’ve never played this game this is the perfect place to start.
