Assassin’s Creed 2

The upcoming action-adventure game by Ubisoft is a direct sequel to the original Assassin’s Creed. The original Assassin’s Creed was first released in November 2007 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. The game was later released for Windows and mobile platforms too.
In the game, player will assume the character of Ezio. The game is set in an open world terrain with non-linear gameplay. The player can wander the city as per his wish and unlock hidden secrets. Latest news suggests that in the game, Ezio will be able to swim through canals of Venice and use them as hiding spots. In the first game, sitting on benches was the most widely used hiding technique. Ezio will also be able to drag the guards into the canal water to assassinate them quietly.

The game was showcased at the E3 expo 2009. The creative director of Ubisoft confirmed that the character of Ezio will be able to drive small boats through the canals in Venice. The legendary Leonardo da Vinci is recreated in the game as an aid to Ezio. He acts as the host of weapons and contraptions for fights. At certain point in the game, Ezio will be able to fly Leonardo’s flying machine which he actually builds in the game.

The game introduces many new weapons like axes, long pikes, swords etc. By linking PS3 with PSP, you can unlock six additional weapons. Ezio can kill multiple enemies at once with his Double hidden blades. Stunning graphics of original game are recreated in this game
