Solar battery charger: Nature’s gift

Solar battery charger controllers take the voltage from a solar panel and condition it to safely charge lead acid batteries. These solar battery chargers controller use pulse width modulation (PWM), and a 3 stage charging method, bulk, absorption, and float charge. They also guard the panels from the batteries after the sun sets. A solar battery charger runs on solar energy which saves us a lot of money. We need not do anything extra to charge anything. The natural source of energy provides the power to run a solar battery charger.
The charger regulates the power from the solar panels and controls the charge of the batteries. It also cuts out the batteries from the load when the lead acid batteries are exhausted to avoid damage to the battery. It has LED bar read out to show the status of the solar charging system and batteries. It has a liquid crystal panel, which gives more information for the system and it has modifiable fill and float charging voltages for the battery charger.
These solar charge controllers also have method functions, for example dusk detection which can be used to turn on the DC output when the sun goes down. They have very low inactive current draw, which means that when the solar panels are not generating enough power to charge, and when the battery current is not called for, the system can rest without wearing the batteries. A solar battery charger is a very good example for conserving solar energy.
